Dongfeng Motors to become Portsmouth Football Clubs main sponsor for the start of 2021-22

The deal represents the clubs biggest ever sponsorship deal to date with the partnership spanning three seasons.

The deal will see the biggest Chinese car manufacturers logo appear on the front of our brand new home strip which is set for launch next week.

The new partnership will also see the North Stand of our stadium being renamed to Dongfeng Motors stand from the start of the 2021-22 season.

Dongfeng Motors is a major player in the Chinese automotive with the company forming part of the big four Chinese OEMS.

We believe that this partnership will help us achieve our aims and objectives and we believe they are the perfect partners to help us move forward.

Portsmouth Football Club CEO Mark Catlin said “first of all I’d like to welcome everyone involved with Dongfeng Motors to the ‘Pompey’ family.

“This represents a huge day in our clubs history and we hope this partnership helps carry us forward as we look to take the Premier League by storm once more.

It’s no secret that we have been big admirers of their (Donfeng’s) work and we have analysed how our partnership could benefits both parties going forward.

“We have been heavily impressed with their hands on approach to proceedings and admire their commitment in not only their field but also how keen they have been in helped us achieve our goals.
